Restore Gut Health After Antibiotics

Johnny Delirious • January 29, 2025

Antibiotics gave many people false hope. On the one hand they saved people from dying from a terminal bacterial infection, however the long term effects can have disastrous resulting in problems in the stomach, upper and lower digestive track. Like most pharmaceutical drugs there are side effects. One of those is they damage the microbiome. They create dysbiosis and this means from the stomach to your colon your gut never gets back to normal. Over the years the microbiome balance is lost forever.

Many people don't realize how important a role the microbiome plays in keeping people healthy. The microbiome literally keeps the brain going, it is that important. So taking care of your gut microbiome and keeping it balanced should be a top priority after taking a course of antibiotics we all want to keep our brain going.

Some people say, “Well I don't take drugs or antibiotics so my gut health is fine.” I wish this were true however, more than eighty percent of the population eat fast food and get too many toxins and many are in the form of pesticides like from RoundUp or specifically its main ingredient, glyphosate.

Well everyone who watches TV has heard of Roundup and some know its made of glyphosate. However, did you know when glyphosate was first developed it was called “Agent Orange?” In those early years in the lab they said it was an herbicide but when you look deeper into the original research and classification of those formulas you will find that is was originally labeled as an antibiotic. The milder version of the banned Agent Orange today is RoundUp.

Unfortunately, this RoundUp is sprayed on our crops and the rain washes it down into our water table. So we get it in our water supply and we get in from our food and guess what our gut is disrupted the same as taking antibiotic drugs. The tragedy is 80% of Americans are eating fast food and now getting glyphosate in their diet and are creating dysbiosis in their gut. The result is never ending irritable bowel, leaky gut, gluten intolerance, just to name a few. These are the tragic beginnings or never ending problems many facing across our country. But wait - its not the end of the world, there is a road out of this illness result and today have real hope of restoring this toxic situation at least in our microbiome. Let me share some good news with you.

Your gut microbiome is a dynamic ecosystem easily disrupted by glyphosate, environmental and lifestyle factors. When it is imbalanced—in a state of "dysbiosis"— localized digestive discomforts, gut health challenges, and body-wide issues may occur. An imbalanced microbial environment can negatively impact your life. Microbiome Labs designed MegaSporeBiotic™ to support reconditioning an imbalanced microbial gut environment.
