Arsenic: A Murder Mystery

Johnny Delirious, Laboratory Naturopathic Doctor • January 1, 2022

Little bits of arsenic in the food or drink was the perfect murder recipe, not just in famous bestselling mystery novels, but also in true life homicides. Day in, day out, week by week; month after month a little arsenic is in the delicious meal prepared by the quiet assassin. As far as biochemistry of the body is concerned, the buildup is residual; the more arsenic that is present, the more iron is pushed out of cellular absorption. This means less hemoglobin is made, thus stifling oxygen activity in the body. With a critical buildup of arsenic the victim is always tired (from lack of oxygen) and wants to take a nap. With continuous minuscule amounts consumed, one day during sleep or a nap they never wake up.

Sounds so grim and you first think, ‘ah that is just in drama series like Masterpiece Theater,’.’but this murder mystery is happening all around us. What if today many Americans are getting little bits of arsenic each day in their food, water and wine? Sound far fetched? Think again. Remember it stays in the body and it keeps building up. Statistics from usgs.gov show arsenic levels greater than ten micrograms per liter in individuals all over the Unites States, particularly high in cities like Las Vegas, San Diego, Houston, Los Angeles and Tampa. (see the map) It does not take a mathematics wizard to realize that is a significant amount of people already exposed to this dangerous heavy metal.

In a forensic investigation or a court of law in all 50 states if arsenic poisoning is suspected then a hair analysis is ordered. Many judges say; “the hair does not lie, run the test.” Because today, whether its a homicide or not, arsenic poisoning is steadily on the rise. Sometimes foul play is not involved and people gradually get too much. But how are people picking it up? One place is from food like rice. Or, it can come from wine. Or increasingly, it can be found in our drinking water. According to some researchers this is a direct result from the drilling activity of petrol-chemical companies.

One of the growing industries today is the extraction of crude oil from underground shale. This is referred to as hydraulic fracturing or commonly called fracking and the business is taking off. As of 2018, the United States has become for the first time the world leader in energy production and exports. Underground fracking has played an essential role in that boom. Unfortunately, in many cases of high production of natural gas and crude oil there is always a risk of toxins and contamination of the environment.

Recently, a study from the Yale School of Public Health in Yale University published a paper January 6, 2016, titled the Journal of Exposure Science and Environmental and Epidemiology. It showed the analysis of more than 1,021 chemicals in fluids used by the fracking process. Because the bedrock is fractured with chemicals, oil and gas is extracted; then the chemicals from the waste water used after the fracking process leach out into underground aquifers that is the source for drinking water. Some of the main toxic chemicals found were arsenic, benzene, cadmium, lead, formaldehyde, chlorine, mercury and when you evaluate all the different compounds there were hundreds more.

“This evaluation is a first step to prioritize the vast array of potential environmental contaminants from hydraulic fracturing for future exposure and health studies,” said Nicole Deziel, senior author and assistant professor of public health at Yale. “Quantification of the potential exposure to these chemicals, such as by monitoring drinking water in people’s homes, is vital for understanding the public health impact of hydraulic fracturing.” Interestingly, in North Texas there is an abundance of fracking operations and water tables are showing an increase in arsenic levels.

As early as 2012, scientists from the University of Texas tested over 100 water wells near large natural gas reserves where fracking is being implemented and found that nearly 30 percent of the wells contain levels of arsenic above the limit that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency considers safe. Zachariah Hillenbrand one of the researchers from the study said it was “alarming” that 30 percent of the ground water wells less than 2 miles away from the gas drilling sites showed and increased amount of arsenic and other heavy metals. Industry leaders and oil company executives deny they are causing an increase in ground water arsenic levels. That debate continues, however what about arsenic in the foods we eat?

One of the highest arsenic levels in food is found in rice. Many imports of rice from China and India show higher levels of arsenic than from other locations. However large quantities of our ground water used here in the United States are now bringing more arsenic into the rice harvest. See the table below. Incidentally, early numbers for 2018 show an escalating higher increase in arsenic levels.

After reviewing this table and realizing that more hydraulic fracturing is taking place in the United States, it becomes obvious that arsenic levels in our water aquifers are increasing. Consequently, using this water to grow our crops, it is probable that arsenic levels in our food supply is also increasing. Are small amounts of arsenic increasing in our bodies? If you are living in Las Vegas, San Diego, Houston, Los Angeles and Tampa do you need to take a nap in the afternoon just to get through the day? Do you eat rice? If you answered yes to the last two questions then your arsenic levels could be going up in your body. Is this by coincidence or is this caused by the quiet assassin? Knowing that it has increased more in our water and food since 1999 when this chart below was researched, you be the judge. Day in, day out, week by week; month after month more arsenic is in the delicious meal.

Have you ever looked at the Periodic Table of Elements? These elements make up everything in the universe! Everything; including us. In fact, we are the microcosm of the macrocosm. In Biblical terms, we are made in God’s image. In chemistry, we are composed mostly of about 40 elements on the Periodic Table. Our make up is essentially the combination of elements made flesh, with the spark of spirit that gives us life.

In the Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), the biological activity of 37 Elements is measured. They are: 15 important Nutritional Elements, 8 Toxic Heavy Metals, 14 Trace Elements. With the information of the HTMA, we now know what is available and being used in the body or what is lacking. Health begins to deteriorate when cell metabolism does not have the right foods and elements it needs. A mineral imbalance follows. Over time, function goes down and structure begins to lose its integrity. With the right foods and a balance of elements on a daily basis the body’s cells will repair and reverse aging.

The HTMA will show:

  • How to avoid disease states
  • Any toxic or heavy metal overload
  • A complete profile of 37 different elements
  • The correct diet schedule based on your biochemistry

Ana Maria Mihalcea, MD, PhD says on Aug 14 · Humanity United Now - Ana Maria Mihalcea, MD, PhD The ABIM (American Board of Internal Medicine), FSMB (Federation of State Medical Boards) and all other boards that have engaged in warfare against doctors and humanity need to be prosecuted. She said, “I refused to get recertified with the ABIM but went with the alternative https://nbpas.org/.” NBPAS are being attacked by ABIM as to keep their monopoly. However, hospitals are now accepting this alternative, which would allow Dr. Kory to still get privileges. We need to build a parallel healthcare system outside of these pharma owned fraudsters who have no honor and no conscience. The future of medicine is ruined forever, if we allow such bought and paid for private organizations control over healthcare. I hope Drs. Nass, Kory and Marik go to war. Go get 'em!

Many clients have asked questions about the metabolic subtypes that are determined in the HTMA mineral patterns. Although each type is described in individual reports, this discussion will provide further details. Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Metabolic Types The Sympathetic Metabolic Type 1, is also known as Fast Metabolic Type 1. The Parasympathetic Metabolic Type 1 is known as the Slow Metabolic Type 1. In review, the Fast Type 1 indicates a dominance of the Sympathetic nervous system, while the Slow Metabolic Type 1 is indicative of Parasympathetic neurological dominance. Typically when the Sympathetic Nervous system is dominant the Sympathetic endocrines making up the Sympathetic Neuroendocrine System (SNES) will also be dominant and includes; Ventromedial Hypothalamus Anterior Pituitary Adrenal Cortex (zona fasciculata) Adrenal Medulla Thyroid Testosterone Progesterone Parasympathetic neurological dominance is associated with the Parasympathetic Endocrine System (PNES) dominance and includes: Lateral Hypothalamus Posterior Pituitary Adrenal Cortex (anabolic) Thymus Pancreas (endocrine) Parathyroid Estrogen Generally speaking the stimulatory endocrine and sedative endocrines correspond to the neurological dominance. However, due to various stages of stress the two can be intermingled. Slow Metabolic Type 2 Below is a graphic presentation of the Slow Metabolic Type 2 mineral pattern.

Stress levels whether acute or chronic are shown in the sub-categories of the metabolic types. Developed by Hans Selye, these are the alarm, resistance, recovery and exhaustion stages. The HTMA will show the metabolic typing and indicate these different degrees of stress making it easier to determine and utilize specific therapy to work with. Within these categories we are using nutritional support (both with food and supplementation) that helps lower stress and working in harmony with the body. The following is a brief:
